Do you want to get your hands in the dirt? Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland at their Broadway Club location has an Urban Farm, Children's Garden and Butterfly Garden that always needs tending. Opportunities to weed, harvest and enjoy the outdoors while enjoying the serene beauty right in the middle of Slavic Village. View the Morgana Bluffs Nature Preserve reclamation project.

Supplies/ funds needed to accomplish the project: None
We can arrange other types of service projects such as painting, cleaning, and organizing at Broadway and occasionally other clubs. During the school year, indoor service projects need to be completed prior to the club opening. If your group would like to do a service project and then engage with the kids in the same visit we can coordinate that, too.

Description
Youth Development Organization comprised of five core program areas: The Arts, Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, and Sports, Recreation, and Fitness.
The organization promotes academic success by helping with homework daily, working with teens on goals for higher education, providing help with reading and math readiness.
We work with all ages on living a healthy lifestyle: we get the kids moving through athletic programs, dance, and fun competitive activities. We promote good nutrition habits and provide a nutricious meal daily. We offer programs designed to encourage healthy attitudes and lifestyles, promoting responsibility and decision-making skills.
Our kids have activities that support good character and leadership by participating in leadership clubs, community service activities and our Youth of the Year program.
