Sunday Family Nature Walk Volunteers

Every Third Sunday

Shift Times:

  • 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
  • 12:00-2:00 PM

Nature Walk Volunteers will help facilitate the new program, Sunday Family Nature Walks that occur every 3rd Sunday of every month. Volunteers will act as an assistant with the program by helping guests with tree scavenger hunt as well as assist with the pine cone owl craft project with each program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

  • Will help with Gathering Place tree scavenger hunt
  • Will assist with the art project: Make a pine cone owl
  • Will help with set-up/clean-up of program
  • Deals courteously and effectively with the public at all times
  • Responds promptly to guests needs
  • Adheres to all safety regulations and policies and procedures and helps maintain a safe and productive environment for guests, volunteers and staff
  • Reports potentially unsafe conditions including damaged property in a timely manner
  • Responds to emergencies and alarm calls as needed

Skills and Experience:

  • Requires the ability to interact with guests, officials, and staff on a regular basis
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Basic level written and verbal communication in the English Language
  • Bilingual experience is a plus, but not required
