Are you looking for a way to engage your coworkers?Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley’s Playhouse Program is here to help, no experience necessary!
Through our Playhouse Program, your team builds, designs and decorates children’s playhouses from scratch, which will go to a local family or organization at the end of the day. Each Playhouse can accommodate up to 10 volunteers and we have workshop locations in Oakland and Milpitas, or we can bring the build to you! Our Playhouse builds are a great way to step out of the office and give back to your community. Habitat’s Playhouse staff will provide all the materials and directions for the day, volunteers simply need to arrive ready to build. A Playhouse Build takes approximately 4 hours to complete and can accommodate groups of almost any size. We ask for a donation of $3000 per playhouse to offset material costs and to support Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
