Build More Than Just a Home; Teambuilding volunteer opportunities with Habitat for Humanity

Help seniors age in place! Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley is offering volunteer experiences to corporate groups interested in helping perform small-scale repairs and painting! No experience is necessary.

Build days with Habitat are a great way to get out of the office and work outside while giving back to your community. Team members will get to challenge themselves as they learn new skills or grow on their existing skills to help a homeowner in need. We provide all the tools and instructions for the day.

Through our Home Preservation Program, we are fixing up homes for low-income families, veterans, elderly, and those with disabilities in San Jose. Partnering families often do not have the physical or financial capabilities to make necessary repairs on their homes. Your team will restore these houses by painting and/or helping with repairs, such as accessibility ramps, roof repairs and new window instillation. These updates will allow partner families to feel proud of their homes and improve their neighborhoods

Habitat asks for a financial contribution along with our Teambuilding programs to help offset the cost of materials and to support Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Our Home Repair volunteer days can engage up to 30 volunteers and we ask for $3,000 for every 10 volunteers.
