Mission Statement

Mission - Adult Education: to strengthen our community by improving adult learner skills for successful long-term employment. The program’s main purpose is to guide students towards becoming adults who are Career and College Ready by increasing their academic and employability skills.

Description

At the Adult Education Centers we work to improve the adult learner’s academic and workforce skills to increase their opportunities for successful long-term employment. Our Adult Education programs offer General Education Development (GED), High School Completion (HSC), Adult Basic Education/Pre-GED (ABE) and English as a Second Language (ESL) at several community sites and schools.

The two main sites, East Campus and West Campus, are the community HUBs for the Adult Education program. Each campus offers state-of-the-art technology, certified teachers, employment training opportunities, auxiliary services and a safe environment that is conducive to learning.
