We are looking for volunteers for Hialeah Pride on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Hialeah Pride is our largest fundraiser that allows Future Bright Minds (our 501(c)3 non profit) to grant college scholarships to LGBTQ+ youth and their allies in the Miami Dade Public School System. We need volunteers in all areas. Shifts will be 4 hours each. We will provide snacks, drinks and food. If you volunteer on load set up day Saturday, October 12 and a shift on actual event day Sunday, October 13 you will be given (1) VIP Pass for event to enjoy the festival in style! Some areas needed are
-Festival Parking -Entertainment
-VIP Check in - Stage Area -Backstage Area
-VIP area - Volunteer Roaming
-Volunteer Check in
-Game Zone
-Kids Zone

Mission Statement
Future Bright Minds is a 501 (c) 3 non profit. We grant college scholarships to benefit LGBTQI+ High School Seniors and their high school senior student allies in the MIami Dade County Public School district. There will always be one scholarship guaranteed to be granted to a city of Hialeah Public School Student. Any other scholarships granted after the first one will be to Public School Miami school district Seniors.
Description
Our vision is in helping and supporting the scholarship recipient with their education is they will pay it forward back into their community and continue the circle of giving and helping our LGBTQI+ community thrive. Funds for Future Bright Minds are mostly raised through our biggest fundraiser Hialeah Pride, which takes place during LGBTQ month in October. We also will start to introduce in 2019 Women's Health initiative that will provide free Gynecology health care to LGBTQI women and their allies.
