Are you passionate about helping Women in Recovery? Fashionkind is seeking a social media expert to help design and guide our use of Facebook as a messaging and fundraising tool. We would like to engage, encourage, and educate the community of women in recovery through a supportive network, inspirational messages, and helpful information applicable to sobriety, self-care, and personal strength-building.
Our nonprofit was founded in November 2018 in San Diego and has grown organically from random pop-up shops to now having a physical store location. After a thorough needs assessment, we found that the community in recovery, specifically young women, could benefit the most from our program. Our clients become volunteers and utilize the store not only for clothing as they interview but also for experience and references as they return to the workforce after the completion of substance abuse treatment. Help us support the growth and relapse prevention of these amazing ladies.

Description
The foundation of everything we do is that every woman deserves the basics in life. We are able to provide a little light and fun in otherwise tough situations. Many clients have only the clothing on their backs...we remedy this! Through generous donations we make sure these women have what they need to reclaim their place in society.
Our mission is more than clothes - our committed volunteers provide personal service and uplifting interaction in a unique boutique-like atmosphere, focused on helping women arrive at a level of self-confidence that enables them to improve their lives and achieve independence. The increased self-esteem that comes from securing and maintaining employment not only helps individual women, but contributes to stable families, which, in turn, improves the viability and safety of our communities.
