Do you love animals, and want to help them? Have you ever considered volunteering at the APCSM? We need your help to care for the many homeless animals that we take in annually.

The APCSM is looking for animal care volunteers for our small animal room, cat care volunteers, and afternoon volunteers. There are multiple shifts available. Training is provided.

The staff at the APCSM relies on the volunteers to help keep the shelter running smoothly. We really count on the volunteers to come in for their shifts, and give it their all. Volunteering is extremely rewarding. However, it isn't just snuggling animals! There is a lot of work that goes into keeping the animals happy, and the shelter clean on a daily basis.

Each volunteer has a specific shift in the same animal room, at the same time each week. This enables volunteers to really get into the routine, and give the animals the best care possible. The APCSM houses dogs, cats, and small animals.

Does volunteering at the APCSM sound like something you would be interested in doing? Check out https://pawsapcsm.org/get-involved/volunteer/ for more information, or to apply!

Please be sure to indicate all of your availability, and what jobs you would be interested in volunteering for. We will contact you for a volunteer interview if we think we have a shift possibility for you.

Due to the size of the adoption center, we cannot accommodate all applicants. Volunteer positions are filled based on shifts available at the adoption center.
-We do not offer any short-term community service opportunities.
-We cannot consider applicants who do not meet our minimum age requirement of 18.

We appreciate your patience, and willingness to help!
