Bluebird
Nest Box Monitors; an example of Citizen Science.

Thinking about trying a citizen science opportunity but don't know where to start? We participate in a nation-wide butterfly count multiple times each year, and we are looking for people like you to help us track butterfly species. The purpose of these counts is to monitor butterfly populations and raise public awareness to increase interest in these wonderful insects. It's also an opportunity for citizen scientists to socialize and have fun, so If you have an interest in bugs, being outdoors and learning, we'd love to have you.

The data you collect will be submitted to the North American Butterfly Association’s nation-wide butterfly count data. Join this exciting opportunity to contribute to our community's ecological systems. Become a Citizen Scientist today!
