On Friday August 30th the Albany Public Library's Howe Branch is hosting an End of Summer Reading Celebration! Volunteers are needed to help set up, run tables, and take down. This will be a fun, exciting event celebrating reading and the end of a great summer. Come be a part of the celebration and lend a hand in your community!

Description
The Albany Public Library consists of 7 branches in the City School District; Washington, North Albany, Bach, Arbor Hill, Pine Hills, Howe, and Delaware. You can visit the 7 branches for books and DVDs, music and magazines, classes and workshops, computers and Wi-Fi, tutoring and tax assistance, arts activities and technology programs, study spaces and meeting rooms, movie showings and musical performances, book clubs and author talks, and so much more. Volunteering is vital to the health of the library and the community by providing much needed support to the youth and adults who rely on library services. Volunteers gain the skills and knowledge to help with their professional career and personal life. Student volunteers gain community service credit and valuable job experience.
