Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 12 people are interested

How many people can answer the question, "What did you do this weekend?" with the answer, "I helped find cures for cancer." At LLS, volunteers are a crucial part of our mission to create a world without blood cancers.

For each of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter’s four Light The Night Walks, there are two opportunities to get involved:

Set-Up (10 AM-3 PM) | Event/Breakdown(3 PM- 9:30PM)

Volunteer support leading up to and including the night of the Walk is what makes Light The Night possible, and we invite you to join us in advancing LLS’s mission.

Groups of all sizes are welcome!

Please note that certain volunteer positions at this event require a background check.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

We work tirelessly to find cures and ensure patients can access the lifesaving treatments they need. When someone experiences the fear and uncertainty of a blood cancer diagnosis, we provide hope, compassion, education and support. Our impact is felt beyond blood cancer. The breakthrough treatments we helped advance for blood cancers are now improving the lives of people affected by many types of cancer.

T Volunteers are our partners in the crusade to end cancer.

In 2017, LLS volunteers made a significant impact while selflessly dedicating their time and talent to achieve our mission. With countless ways to engage, from fundraising to providing patient support, our volunteers are changing the landscape of cancer.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter serves residents who have been touched by one of the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The chapter serves the Lehigh Valley Region.
