Conduct volunteer recruitment
Screen and provide orientation training to new volunteers
Coordinate volunteer placement/matching
Coordinate volunteer recognition activities
Act as liaison between staff/ volunteers/ community partners
Identify program priorities and expectations to establish a realistic work
plan
Clarify volunteer work schedules, methods for communication with staff and
supervisory relationship
Attend appropriate trainings and meetings at Firm Foundation Of Virginia, Inc.
Keep appropriate volunteer records and track volunteer activity.
Contact potential volunteers within five business days of initial contact (via phone or
internet).
Provide follow-up responses/actions to Website Administrator within three business days
of internet inquiry

Description
We are a 501(c)(3) faith-based non-profit organization who provide hope to homeless single mothers and unwed pregnant women from 18-35 years of age, residing in the Hampton Roads, experiencing homelessness, poverty, or crisis. We have served in Portsmouth, VA since June 2015.
