CAN COUNCIL

The CAN Council Great Lakes Bay Region’s mission is to "build communities where children are free from abuse and neglect." This is being achieved through innovative programming, comprehensive services, and effective collaborations enriching generations to come.

The CAN Council is looking for detail orientated, reliable, and friendly volunteers to facilitate our secondhand clothing store. The Can Closet provides new and gently used clothing, shoes, backpacks, personal care items and more at no cost to children served through the CAN Council and those in foster care

CAN Closet Volunteers will be required to go through a one-hour onsite training and must be able to commit to 4 hours of volunteering per month. Volunteers come from all walks of life, with a variety of professional, educational, and ethnic backgrounds. The one thing they have in common is their unwavering commitment to the well-being and protection of children. If you also share this commitment, the CAN Council would love to meet you.
