Are you an educator that enjoys helping children reach their full academic potential? The Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist with homework help at our Learning Center, Monday - Friday with attention on common core curriculum subjects.
If you have specific BVI training that is also a plus, but not necessary. We have a wonderful group of kids that range in age from grades K-12. If you are interested in learning more, please complete the volunteer application and someone from NBCF will contact you to discuss the opportunity in more detail.
All volunteers must complete a background check prior to volunteering.
**NBCF Learning Center offers Homework Help from 3 pm - 5 pm, Monday through Friday for children with low vision and blindness. This volunteer opportunity will be on an as-needed basis depending on demand.**
