This Thanksgiving, let's come together and provide a home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner to 300 residents at a low-income elderly home in Reston, VA!

Here are more details..

WHO: We will be cooking dinner for approximately 300 people. Volunteers must be over 18 years of age to participate.

WHAT: This dinner is a "pot luck" style. In other words, everyone will bring a pre-made dish to the event (food to be prepared at home, not at the kitchen). When you register for this event, you will be presented with a menu of dish options and tasks to choose from. Please select a dish(es) and a task when you register!

Tasks: There will be three different tasks to sign up for:

Server - Serving plated food to residents

Plater - Plating food

Kitchen admin - carving turkey, replenishing food from the back of the kitchen to the plating station, keeping food warm, disposing of trash, clean up, etc.

WHERE: Address to be provided upon RSVP.

WHEN: 11/28/2019, 12:30PM - 2:30PM

Tickets - This event requires a ticket purchase. Ticket sales go towards supporting this event, other charitable events of the Barbera Foundation, and overhead costs. All ticket sales are tax deductible donations. Early registration discount- Use coupon code "gobblegobble1" to get $5 off!
