We are a 501c3 Nonprofit for abused, handicapped and senior dogs. We purchased a farm in 2014 to have a home for our rescues where they could live with us as a family on the first floor. The second floor is rented out on Airbnb. At the time we were in a position to fund the enterprise ourselves and intended to host farm weddings at a future date to fund the shelter. 4 months after purchase, while renovations were ongoing, we moved to the farm. Shortly thereafter I became disabled. Almost one year to the date later my husband lost his job as a SVP and CFO during the purge from a company buyout. When we tried to start the farm wedding enterprise the county said we would need a variance and the neighbors all voted against it. The farm we purchased had been vacant for 3 years, and yes, we did have it inspected. The ongoing undisclosed problems discovered during renovation cost us thousands of unanticipated dollars. We have done everything possible to keep going. We rent the entire upstairs on Airbnb, we host a number of Experiences through Airbnb and all the Facebook pages created solely to fund the shelter. We have a new website and a Google Business page. We are two seniors who do nothing but work here at the farm 12 and more hours a day. We are desperate for help. As my illness continues to worsen on a daily basis, I am anticipating to be gone relatively soon. I can not rest in peace until I know that my husband and the rescue are taken care of. My 66 birthday is Saturday and if still here I plan to vlog daily until the end not only for the rescue but also to help others who are ill and can not find a diagnosis or doctor who is familiar with what is happening to them.
When we renovated the farm we saved all the doors and windows in order to build a GreenHouse and She Shed to showcase items we can sell to help fund the shelter. We also need help repairing damage to the interior of the rescue as well as the repair of the exterior. We are constantly looking for new ways of income and my brain never shuts off from constantly worrying about making it through another week of bills.

We created this nonprofit to give discarded dogs who have been abused, handicapped or senior a refuge for the remainder of their natural life in a loving home together as family
In 2014 we purchased a farm for our 501c3 nonprofit for abused, handicapped & senior dogs. We have held benefits, been highlighted in two publications, and created several Facebook pages to help with costs. The rescue, Petite Trésors Rescue & Sanctuary, The Greenhouse at Le Château de Chien, Paint-N-Paws 4 A Cause is an arts and crafts page, Maison Abeille is for honey, bath & body & I created a variety of essential oil blends for Dogs and Their Humans to deter ticks, flies, mosquitos and more. Mary's Closet is where I sell all my clothes, shoes, jewelry and anything else. We constantly add new things. We launched a new website, have listed the shelter on Amazon Handmade and offer Airbnb. We are two seniors, 66, who just want to do good and leave the world a better place for the next generation. We need help. I will happily go without medication to pay bills. We need volunteers who do everything. Like to garden, Love to work with wood, Like to sew, Love to paint, we need it. We are not techy, therefore, if you are, please give us a media presence. Are you an attorney that wants to do good? We are desperate for help. Do you have a skill such as upholstery, pottery, art? Would you like to give a class here? Just want to sit and watch TV all day, but also be happy to pet a dog while watching? Come on over. If you have read this far, we think you get the general idea, and just maybe have a skill or time or both we haven't mentioned. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
We'll work with your schedule.
