About Friends In Pink - Pink Tie Friends, Inc. dba Friends in Pink is an organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to individuals who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are uninsured or underinsured.
Our mission is to provide financial assistance to diagnosed Breast Cancer patients who live in St Lucie, Martin and Indian River Counties whether they are insured or un-insured.
We are looking for a passionate, energetic, creative Volunteer Coordinator to join our organization. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will mainly be responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers for our organization. In addition, you will be delegating responsibilities to volunteers, attending events to represent Friends In Pink, and train selected people for their future roles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit volunteers using different recruiting various techniques
- Collect information on qualifications and skills
- Arrange for training when needed
- Secure volunteers for certain events, health fairs, office help
- Sign off on volunteer hours for students
- Ensure volunteers are satisfied by creating a health working environment
- Keep and manage records of volunteers’ information and work
- Create other ways to recruit volunteers
- Track volunteers work
- Give constructive feedback
- Help create recruitment marketing.
