Corner Health Center

Help the Corner maintain a high quality of cleanliness.

5 hours a month

Corner team members, including staff, interns, other volunteers.

• Communicate with Volunteer Coordinator or Clinic Manager to know what cleaning tasks need to be completed.
• Organize or stock items
• Deep clean: may include but not limited to:
  • Wiping down lobby chairs
  • Cleaning windows/doors
  • Clean baseboards
  • Move furniture and items to clean around or under
  • Disinfect drinking fountains
  • Mop floors

• Enjoy cleaning
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to stand, lift, walk, use stairs and bend
• Physical capability to lift up to 20lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable working with people of varying socioeconomic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and ethnic diversity

Training:

• Volunteer orientation
• On the job training

Dress Code:

• Wear comfortable, appropriate clothes for the assigned daily tasks such as jeans and volunteer t-shirt.
• Close toed shoes
• Volunteer badge and nametag must be worn during volunteer shift in a visible location.
