Transportation: Aimed at helping non-driving seniors to age in place in the homes they know and love, volunteer drivers help transport clients to medical and other needed appointments and errands. Volunteer drivers are able to accept assignments that work for their schedules and can view and choose the assignments they desire. Most transports are from the client's home in the Sunrise Neighborhood to a location not more than ten miles from that home. Volunteers can either drop them at the appointment and wait for them, or can drive the client to the appointment and go do errands until the client is ready to be picked up for the drive home.

Mission Statement
To provide an array of 'neighbors helping neighbors' services, educational programs and social events that assist and support residents in their own homes, for as long as possible.
Description
We provide transportation to medical and personal appointments, shopping and errands, friendly visits, telephone/email reassurance, minor household tasks, temporary support, including meal preparation (after discharge from hospital), limited pet assistance and loans of "gently used" medical equipment. Our programs and services are powered by an amazing team of volunteers.
