The Hawaii chapter of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is looking for volunteers ASAP!

Volunteer responsibilities include helping nominate and recruit high school age students for the national campaign, Students of the Year. Volunteers should be able to commit to one hourly meeting monthly, and must be comfortable reaching out to their networks. Some other responsibilities include securing auction items, mentoring young adults, and managing events.

All volunteers must go through a background check and screening. This is a great opportunity for anyone to add to their resume, grow their networks, get volunteer hours, work with a national non-profit, and help fund cancer research.

Description

The National Capital Chapter is in need of Volunteers for the IHOP National Pancake Day happening on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at DMV area IHOPS. On National Pancake Day, Tuesday February 25th IHOP will be giving away a free short stack of pancakes to all of its customers. In lieu of payment for the pancakes, IHOP is asking every customer to make a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Volunteers are needed to facilitate that ask by going table-to-table asking for donations. RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS: Be outgoing, charismatic, and engaged. This is not a passive volunteer role.
