BVMI offers a farmer's market for the patients in our prediabetes program July - November.
We are looking for one or two people to help us on Saturday mornings 9:30-11am to help with food distribution.

Mission Statement
Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative provides FREE primary care to low-income, working Bergen County, NJ residents who do not have health insurance. Our goal is to keep our patients out of the emergency room. We believe that how people are treated during a visit to BVMI’s Healthcare Center is as important as the medical care they receive.
Description
BVMI is a nonprofit healthcare center which opened in November, 2009. In 2023, we served over 1,200 patients in Bergen County. Care is provided by volunteer doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners and other clinicians. BVMI is supported solely through contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations and is one of 100 Volunteers in Medicine clinics in the US.
