This opportunity provides an individual with a background in law, legal services and adcovacy to hone in on their skills to move Community Day Nursery into being a premier learning center for children. We look to build on over 120 years of quality daycare services and expand our presence in Essex County and New Jersey.
Community Day Nursery is looking for members for the Board of Trustees. Members assist in formulating agency goals, support policies and procedures and being visionaries for educational opportunities for children.

We want to strengthen a cooperative partnership with families through a variety of parenting services and group activities.

Description

Community Day Nursery is a nonprofit early childhood program offering a high-quality full-day preschool education to the children of East Orange. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Community Day Nursery has been serving children and their families since 1897.
