What is Bay Day?
Bay Day is a celebration of our Bay Area communities and the unique ecological wonders that
make up our Bay. This official holiday, like Earth Day for the Bay, connects our community
partners, volunteers, and supporters to appreciate and protect our home.

What is RestorationFest?
There’s an adventure for everyone at this vast and beautiful bayside destination.
Participants can enjoy a guided nursery walk or bike ride, go kayaking, join our interactive
tabling events, and so much more! There will also be a variety of tasty food trucks and live
music!

Help support RestorationFest by volunteering at the Palo Alto Baylands on Saturday, October 5.
There are three shift options below with a variety of tasks ranging from heavy lifting to community engagement. Let us know how you would like to get involved.

Please choose from the following shifts:

SHIFT 1: 8-11am (25 Max)
Set-Up from 8-10am
Assembling tents and activities, distributing tables and
chairs, installing flags, and signage

Activities 10-11am
Running games, activities, greeting attendees, distributing
t-shirts, directing participants.
We invite you to stay and explore the Palo Alto Baylands!

SHIFT 2: 11am-2pm (25 Max)
Activities 11am-2pm
Running games, activities, greeting attendees, distributing
t-shirts, directing parking, engaging participants!

Special Request!
We are looking for a few gregarious individuals to be our
mascot on Bay Day. Let us know if you are interested in
becoming Sammy The Seal and engaging with participants
young and old!

SHIFT 3: 1-4pm (25 Max)
We invite you to come early and explore the Palo Alto Baylands!
Activities 1-2pm
Running games, activities, greeting attendees, distributing
t-shirts, directing parking, engaging participants!

Breakdown 2-4pm
Pack up activities, take down tents and flags, remove
signage, stack tables/chairs, and leave the Baylands
trash-free!
