Be involved behind the scenes at MDA, working closely with dedicated MDA staff to advance the mission of driving innovations in science and care for people impacted by neuromuscular disease.

As a volunteer you will, answer phones, make calls to those we serve and our sponsors, secure donation items, coordinate event supply inventories, greet office guests and more.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to commit to a small number of hours each week or a few times a month.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is a voluntary national health agency--a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed as conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more that a million Americans.

Description

The local MDA office is avalible to serve anyone with one of the over 43 neuromuscular diseases in the Association's program. MDA today is one of the world's leading voluntary health agencies fostering research and medical care. Programs supported by your local MDA office include, clinics, summer camp, support groups, and research. The Association receives no government or United Way funding.
