Journey Found, Inc. provides a safe place called "home" to over 85 people with special needs throughout Connecticut. We pride ourselves on the work we do in the community for the most vulnerable people in our society - those with disabilities.

Unfortunately, non-profits can no longer rely on government funds to sustain their future. So the need for fundraising has become a critical part of an organizations existence. Which is why we are in need of a few good men/women who love to help others by volunteering their skills and knowledge for the greater good.

We are seeking a Marketing Volunteer who will assist the Director of Development with the following tasks:
1. Setting up meetings with existing/potential donors
2. Solicit sponsor opportunities for major fundraising events
3. Assist with advertising/marketing/branding of the agency
4. Work events alongside of the Director by networking with supporters

This opportunity would be perfect for a marketing student looking for experience in the field and getting real life experience. Or a retired marketing/sales/development professional who would like to share their knowledge/skills with an awesome charity. The candidate would have great interpersonal skills in person and on the phone, as well as great written communication skills. The schedule can be flexible.
