Services provided at the Al-Shifa Clinic include health histories, physical exams, annual check-
ups, well child visits, as well as diagnosis and treatment of various medical
conditions and acute injury. Referrals for specialist care, labs, and imaging are made to
Hennepin Healthcare.
The clinic is looking for volunteer primary care physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Ideally, we would like a physician to agree to volunteer two hours per month.

Description
The Al-Shifa Clinic is a program of the Islamic Center of Minnesota (ICM). ICM was founded as
a community center forty-nine years ago, and since then has hosted social and spiritual events
for the people of its community. The non-profit Al-Shifa Clinic started about twenty years ago,
with its goal to provide free healthcare to the undeserved population. The clinic is open to all,
regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, or one's economic status.
