Be a Calming Presence at the End of Life
VITAS Healthcare is looking for kind and caring people to help patients and their families - just by being there at the end of life.
Vigil (11th Hour) Volunteers should be comfortable around death and the dying process.Volunteers offer a calming presence for the patients and families. Shifts are usually 2-4 hours and sometimes on short notice.
Orientation and 11th Hour Training are provided at no cost to help you learn the skills required to be a hospice volunteer.
