Mentors will share their experiences while being a sounding board to our high school students as they navigate their classes and work through the college-admittance process. Mentors will connect with their student mentees throughout the school year on a monthly basis.
- Mentor meet-ups start on 09/01/19 and end by 6/20/19 (depending on school calendar); meet-ups are scheduled taking into consideration mentor and mentee’s schedules
- Mentees will be middle school and high school
- Same-sex mentoring matches
- Mentors will communicate with CREO advisors as needed prior to their mentee’s Advisor Meeting

Description
CREO DuPage (aka CREO) is a nonprofit program focused on helping motivated Hispanic/Latino/Latinx students attain the future they yearn for - making possible what may seem impossible! We want to break away from misconceptions by changing the college narrative in the community and enabling our students to successfully prepare for and complete their studies.
CREO mostly volunteer-based and there are many opportunities to get involved with us! CREO Volunteers have the chance to really shape our next generation!

- First meet-up will take place in a public space in Glen Ellyn. Subsequent meet-ups can happen at any public space that works for mentor/mentee.
