This Thanksgiving, let's come together and provide a home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner to 300 residents at a low-income elderly home in Reston, VA!

WHO: We will be cooking dinner for approximately 300 people. All ages welcome! Bring your kids!
WHAT: This dinner is a "pot luck" style. In other words, everyone will bring a pre-made dish to the event (food to be prepared at home, not at the kitchen). When you register for this event, you will be presented with a menu of dish options and tasks to choose from. Please select a dish(es) and a task when you register!
Tasks: There will be three different tasks to sign up for:
Server - Serving plated food to residents
Plater - Plating food
Kitchen admin - carving turkey, replenishing food from the back of the kitchen to the plating station, keeping food warm, disposing of trash, clean up, etc.
WHERE: Address to be provided upon RSVP.
WHEN: 11/28/2019, 10:00AM - 12:00PM
Tickets - This event requires a ticket purchase. Ticket sales go towards supporting this event, other charitable events of the Barbera Foundation, and overhead costs. All ticket sales are tax deductible donations. Early registration discount- Use coupon code "gobblegobble" to get $5 off!

Barbera Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote positive change by inspiring others to engage in the community and help those less fortunate.
I n order to accomplish this mission, Barbera Foundation organizes a wide variety of events that unite people from all walks of life. From delivering care packages of food and supplies to the homeless and preparing Thanksgiving dinner for those less fortunate during the holiday season, to supporting underprivileged kids with books and school supplies, Barbera Foundation strives to improve the lives of those in need to make the community as a whole, a better place for everyone.
