We need some who has experience in event planning to help Puppy Haven Rescue plan a few fundraisers and special events for the rest of 2019! This is a great way for a college student to gain more experience in event planning and marketing, or a wonderful way for someone who works in the field to give back to the community (and spend some time with the dogs!).
WHAT YOU WOULD DO
- Suggest fundraising and special event ideas
- Present the plans to the PHR team (which includes cost estimates)
- Contact any necessary businesses or organizations
- Create marketing materials and an advertising plan
- Organizing facilities and details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc.
- Ensure the event goes smoothly on the day of

Puppy Haven Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, dog rescue located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We rescue all kinds of dogs and puppies and help them find their forever home. We are always in need of volunteers! This could mean fostering, working one-on-one with the dogs, aiding in events, or more behind-the-scenes work.
Description
PH rescues all dog breeds of every size and find them loving, forever homes. Our rescues receive high-quality care. Our adoptable dogs are healthy, socialized, and ready to be a part of a family. Our hope is to continue to grow to save as many lives as possible. We will be fundraising and accepting donations to build a spacious, temporary housing for dogs who need immediate saving.
