International organization is looking for a motivated intern to work with the Director of Volunteers on Giving Tuesday and Year End Giving campaigns. Opportunity to get very hands on with a small but fun not-for-profit.
Create content for Giving Tuesday and Year End Giving campaigns including press releases and social media posts such as Facebook and Instagram
Work with Grants Manager in strategic planning of campaigns and managing donor relations, maintaining regular contact with donors, local partners, and board members through written or telephone follow up.
Assist in producing and running events for friends and donors
Previous experience with online fundraising or peer to peer campaigns desirable
Good writing and communication skills a must
Candidates must be able to commit to 10 hours/week for a minimum of 6 months. 1-2 hours per week may be accomplished remotely

Big Apple Greeter is a small non-profit organization that has been welcoming visitors to NYC since 1992 by offering them free 4 hour visits to a neighborhood of their choice with volunteers who know it well.
