RSVP Trailblazers is looking for a few good volunteers.
Our program works to support youth through tutoring and mentoring, both in schools and in after-school settings. We are looking for talented people who want to give some of their time to help students in the county.
Our volunteers work in a wide variety of assignments -- whatever your interests and availability might be, we will help you find a volunteer setting that works for you .
Example assignments include:
Tutoring developing readers in a school setting
Helping high school students sharpen the skills they need to become working adults
Mentoring middle school students from disadvantaged backgrounds
And many more!
RSVP volunteers are eligible for reimbursement of mileage to and from their volunteer assignment, and are covered while they volunteer by supplemental liability and accident insurance provided by RSVP.
