Please Note: This volunteer opportunity is listed as occurring at our National Office in Stamford, CT, however, hosting a student would occur in your own home, wherever you live in the U.S.

Academic Year in America (AYA),one of the nation's most respected high school exchange organizations, is looking for volunteer host families all throughout the U.S., to host 1 or 2 of our full screened and insured exchange students for either the first 3 days of the school year, the first semester, or the full academic year.

The student/s you host will attend your local high school and learn about American values and culture for the duration of their stay with you. Hosting is a great way to volunteer and contribute to a great mission: bringing the world together. All types of families or individuals can host! You and your students will have the constant support of a Local Area Representative and our National Office.
