Join us in the Family Area as we transform it into an Out of This World experience! You can help children and their families play, create, and blast off for Infinite Fun!

The Children's Museum of Richmond, a not-for-profit organization, exists to create innovative learning experiences for all children and those who support them that inspire the next generation of creative problem solvers. We aim to support the families attending the Richmond Folk Festival through fun and innovative learning experiences.

Volunteers are required to wear a Folk Festival T-shirt (provided) and closed-toe shoes. The festival takes place rain or shine, so be prepared with rain gear (we will be under tents but rain boots can be super helpful).

All volunteers must attend a pre-session at the Children's Museum of Richmond in order to volunteer. Adults must submit to a background check.
