Mission Statement

Our mission is to strengthen lives with compassionate healing, and our devoted team of professionals is positively impacting the lives of thousands of children and adults in our community every day.

Description

The Centers is a private, non-profit organization licensed by the State of Florida and accredited by CARF International. Approximately 550 professionals are on staff in Citrus and Marion counties providing a full range of mental health, recovery support, and child safety services.

In 2015, The Centers impacted the lives of 13,506 people including 5,342 children.

Services include child and adult crisis stabilization, adult residential substance abuse treatment, a drop-in center and model clubhouse for those living with mental illness, targeted case management for children and adults, medication management, and individual and group counseling in outpatient, in-home, and in-school settings.

Contracted as a Case Management Agency through Kids Central, Inc., The Centers provides protective supervision services in Marion County to children and their families regarding issues of abuse, neglect, abandonment, or exploitation by the child’s parent or guardian. The Centers is also the lead provider of emergency intervention therapy to individuals and families whose children are at risk of removal.

Additional training and therapeutic services for law enforcement, local schools, hospitals, and multiple community agencies are conducted along with prevention services for parents and children.

Our mission: Strengthen lives with compassionate healing.
