ORGANIZATION: Jewish Family Service

  • 1 person is interested

JFS runs programs with Older Adult Services and Supportive Living Services for People With Disabilities. From time to time, we have a client who could use some help with yard work.

Mission: The client needs some weeding done, possibly have some rocks moved around to fill in some spaces, and a general clean-up (sweeping, etc). Bonus if someone could replace the boards on this very simple front deck!

Location: Kirkland (address provided once group is confirmed)

Date and time: Mutually agreed upon by group and client, though the sooner the better. Take advantage of the summer warmth and daylight!

Number of Volunteers needed: 4-6 volunteers for 4 to 5 hours. Age 18 or older, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Volunteers encouraged to bring gloves, a water bottle, and small shovels or weeding tools, if available. Please remember to wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
