Sundiata is a nationally recognized not-for-profit corporation that was created to address the disparities of technology for women and minorities. We aim to do this thru a tech-focused program of teaching individuals how to develop and write computer code in multiple languages. Sundiata is growing at an accelerated rate, and we are looking for passionate individuals who are interested in building with our organization. We are currently seeking volunteers, preferably computer programmers, software engineers, who have knowledge and experience in writing and developing computer applications. College students who have experience in writing and building applications and who are also in the fields of computer science or engineering are encouraged to apply.

Mission Statement

We aim to do this thru a tech-focused program of teaching individuals how to develop and write computer code in multiple languages. We believe that we must change the way disadvantaged individuals from communities that severely lack technological resources engages with technology and the tech industry, across our lifespans. Sundiata will revolutionize these communities by creating a technology-based program that transcends traditional pedagogical methodologies through new tech components. Including virtual and augmented reality that support engaged learning for individuals starting from kindergarten through twelfth grade and extending into adulthood.

Description

The Sundiata Corporation is a nationally recognized 501c3 that was founded as of July 9, 2018, to infuse the technology revolution with the inclusion of diverse mindsets through educating and inspiring the next generation of innovators. Sundiata is in the business of leveling the playing game for underrepresented minorities in the tech world.
