ORGANIZATION: Senior Dog Rescue of Oregon

  • 1 person is interested

The Volunteer Coordinator helps connect people interested in volunteering to opportunities in the organization. You’ll review the volunteer applications and reach out to new volunteers to welcome them and ask for more information as needed. If new volunteers want to help at events, you’ll add them to our event contact list. If they want to help out in a different capacity, you’ll connect them with the appropriate person in the organization. You’ll also manage our volunteer tracking software.

Most of the work will be done from home, although we do have meetings about once a month. We anticipate the role will take 5-10 hours per month.

Mission Statement

Senior Dog Rescue of Oregon (SDRO) promotes the well being, safety and care of older dogs age 6 and up. As a volunteer-driven organization, our mission is to find new homes for dogs who are homeless or in unhealthy homes, so that they may spend the remainder of their lives in loving homes.
