The Four Seasons Orchestra will be performing our Night in Vienna Concert on Sunday October 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library. We will be featuring the Four Seasons String Quartet, performing light Classical works by Mozart, Haydn, Schubert, Beethoven and Johann Strauss Jr. This performance includes Myra Lin and Vickie Thai violinists, Carolyn Broe violist, and RenĂ©e Rechlin cellist. Our Night in Vienna Concert is Free to the Public. This concert has been generously sponsored by Walmart’s Northsight store in Scottsdale (facility 2766).

We need volunteers to help usher for this concert. It is free to the public, so there are no ticket sales. We may need a couple of people to manage an information table for the Four Seasons Orchestra. We are a non profit organisation. There will be more opportunities to volunteer with the orchestra later in 2019 and 2020. Thank you for your support of the arts!

Description

The Four Seasons Orchestra is a professional European style chamber orchestra. We perform live classical concerts for the public, and provide educational programs for youth and seniors. We are a 501 C3 non profit organization which was founded in 1991 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Four Seasons Orchestra was nominated in two Grammy categories in the year 2000 for "Best Small Ensemble" and for "Best New Composition". We have also been nominated for the Arizona Governor's Arts award in 2003 and 2004. We have performed at Surprise Stadium for over 10,000 people. We have also performed many smaller chamber orchestra and chamber music concerts. Our orchestra has many solo artists, who are members that perform with our group. We also hold a concerto competition, and provide opportunities for talented young people to perform with our orchestra on our "Young Artists" series. We have many opportunities for volunteers to help us to give music programs in Arizona. We really appreciate the talents of people who want to give their time to a worthy cause. Four Seasons Orchestra is a grass roots organization that brings music directly to the people.
