Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center - Would you give an hour a week to help a child walk?
is a place where miracles happen, a place where children can bond with a horse and accomplish life-changing goals never before dreamed of...goals like taking their first steps or speaking their first words or becoming best friends with a 1,000-pound buddy and experiencing unconditional love, maybe for the first time.
Tuesdays-Saturdays. Won't you share your horse experience and knowledge and give back in this very special way? It just may be the best horse experience you'll ever have.
Visit Giant Steps online and watch our movie at www.giantstepsriding.org, then call us at 707-781-9455 or 707-769-8900, ext. 12. It just might change your life too.

Mission Statement

Giant Steps is dedicated to enriching lives through the power of horses, team and community. Through the excellence of our equine assisted programs, people of all ages, means, and challenges experience the extraordinary benefits of therapeutic riding and activities.

Giant Steps' purpose is to serve children and adults with disabilities by offering them a chance for physical, mental and personal growth. Six days a week, at Giant Steps, individuals with disabilities come together in a safe and secure environment to interact with an equine partner. It is this interaction that becomes a source of healing in the therapeutic process. The extent to which animals respond to human need is extraordinary and the reciprocal response from the rider is nothing short of amazing.
