On October 26th, the Arizona Burn Foundation is partnering with the Chandler Fire Department to educate the community, reduce the risk of house fires, and save lives! With your help, we are installing free smoke alarms in homes located in underserved, high-risk communities. Below is the information:
Date: Saturday, October 26th, 2019
Time: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Meeting location: Apache Park - 1300 N Hartford St, Chandler, AZ 85225
We plan on reaching 400 homes with this event, so we need volunteers to help make this happen! We will provide all the necessary training beforehand in order to do the installs. This is a great event that not only benefits communities in need and potentially save lives, but it is also a great way to meet and network with others that truly care about giving back.
Volunteers can sign up at https://azburn.org/smokealarms/. After that, you simply click on the "Volunteers Needed" button. Find and click on the event on the calendar. If you are a new volunteer, simply create an account and RSVP.
If you need more information or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
