Family Pillars Hospice is a part of the We Honor Veterans program which addresses Veteran’s unique end-of-life needs.
Veteran volunteers are needed in the Lehigh Valley and Carbon County area to serve terminally ill Veteran patients and their families.
Veteran volunteers have the ability to connect to other Veterans through their common language, culture and experiences. Veteran Volunteers provide Vet to Vet visits, certificate of appreciation presentations for individuals and hospice events, support calls, and vigil volunteering for actively dying Veterans.

Description
We provide quality palliative and end-of-life care to patients with a terminal condition. We are involved in the We Honor Veterans program, which honors Veterans and addresses their unique needs at the end of life. Our program includes: medical doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses-RNs and LPNs, nurse aides, social work services, spiritual care, music therapy, massage therapy, bereavement services, and a volunteer program.
