What will you build?
Since 1988, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has been providing safe, decent, and affordable housing to those in need. We have built 100 homes in Longmont and the surrounding area, and over 130 homes through our international tithe program. In 2017, St. Vrain Habitat merged with the Habitat for Humanity of Estes Valley and this year marks the official start of building since the merger.

Description
Based in Longmont, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has built 72 homes locally and 130 internationally. Our homes are sold to qualified family partners at cost with a no-profit mortgage. As homeowners repay their mortgage, the funds are invested into building more homes for deserving families. We select homeowner families based on their need for adequate shelter, their ability to pay for a Habitat home, and their willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity, including taking financial and homeownership classes. All homeowners contribute "sweat equity"; they work in partnership with the affiliate and other volunteers, contributing up to 500 hours of volunteer service.
