Comprenew strives to protect businesses, people and the environment from the threat of improperly disposed electronic devices through best practice technology data management, asset recovery and recycling services, while fostering job readiness and computer literacy among at-risk populations in our community.
Donated electronics are refurbished or dismantled for recycling by volunteers and trained staff. Refurbished electronics are sold, at discounted prices to our community through our 3 retail locations.
Comprenew is seeking volunteers to assist with the dismantling of electronics. Join us in a fun, easy-paced environment, accessible to all people!
Volunteer hours are 7 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday with extended hours on Wednesday from 7 AM - 8 PM.

Description
Comprenew is a nonprofit which recycles and rebuilds electronics according to strict E-Stewards and R-2 industry standards. Comprenew has a social mandate to help bridge the "digital divide" by offer free computer literacy training and access to very affordable desktops and laptop computers for the general public and through area educational, business and nonprofit workforce development agencies.

- Must be at least 8
- Shifts are generally 3 hours in length but can be lengthened or shortened depending on your needs.
- Anyone ages 8 and up can volunteer. However, anyone under the age of 16 must have an adult present. Closed-toed shoes must be worn.
