What is TIP? The Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) of Southern Nevada Inc., referred to as TIP, is a non-profit organization committed to supporting those in crisis. We currently have around 70 volunteers who respond to scenes of sudden or unexpected death, violent crimes, sexual assaults, vehicle fatalities, and other traumatic events providing emotional and practical support to family, friends and witnesses directly on-scene. TIP volunteers respond when requested by local police, fire, medical and hospital personnel. TIP volunteers respond anywhere in Clark County, NV, 365/24/7 and have a response time of 30 minutes or less. TIP of Southern Nevada, Inc. responded to over 1400 calls for service in 2017 and assisted over 7000 citizens in crisis!
