ALL VOLUNTEERS WILL RECEIVE AN EVENT SHIRT AND LIGHT REFRESHMENTS

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The outdoor festivities include inspirational speakers, live tapings of TheTRENDTalk TV show, Elevate Latina Business Zone, an empowerment fashion show, a Cocktail Garden, a VIP Lounge, food trucks, DJ, and dancing entertainment, among other fun activities for all ages.

SHIFTS & TASKS AVAILABLE

Here is a list of times and shifts available. Please let us know at check-in if you plan to stay longer or if you arrive at a different time:

6:00 AM - 11:00 AM - SET-UP CREW (4) Duties include: General event set up, hanging signs, helping vendors find their spaces, collecting raffle prizes from vendors, making raffle baskets, set up greenroom, help with decorations, setting up LATINAfest Booth, Setting up Check-In tables & Eventbrite Lists, Volunteer Check-ins at LATINAfest Booth.

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM EVENT CREW #1 (6) Duties include Manning the Check-in Tables & Eventbrite Lists, Helping Manage The Trend Talk Taping, Talent Wrangler/Check-In, Taking Care of the Green Room (replenishing food, water, keep clean) Replenishing Catering in Lobby, we need 1-2 people to manage the Patio Stage/Demo Area (turnover the area for each new act) Keeping the cocktail lounge clean, taking raffle prizes to the stage, helping Fernanda Kelly with the fashion show, volunteers Check-ins at LF Booth.

10:00 AM - 6:00 PM STAGE CREW #1 (3) Duties include: Assisting Stage Director as needed with Set-up, Running Gifts, Staging, Organizing Green Room, and as needed throughout the event.

3:00 PM - 8:00 PM EVENT CREW #2 (4) Duties include Manning the Check-in Tables/Eventbrite Lists from 3-6 pm, Manning the LATINAfest booth, from 3-6 pm Keeping the cocktail area clean 3-6 pm, Work with Fernanda on the talent show, Help with Patio Stage/Demo Area, taking care of the Green Room (replenishing food, water, keep clean) 3-6 pm, taking raffle items to the stage, Volunteer Check-ins at LF Booth.

4:30 PM - 8:00 PM STRIKE TEAM (6) Duties include Event teardown, removing signs, helping vendors exit their spaces, clearing green room on 4th floor, help with loading, and assisting event leads as needed.


ATTIRE & PARKING:
Comfortable, jeans, sneakers, or sturdy shoes are recommended. Please wear closed-toe shoes, no flip flops, or heels/platforms. A T-shirt will be provided. Layered clothing, hast and/or sunglasses are suggested at your discretion. Parking and check-in information will be provided prior to the event.


RECEIVING COMMUNITY SERVICE CREDIT:
Participants interested in receiving service credit for school or work, must sign in and sign out. Verification forms should be provided upon arrival and will be ready at check-out. If you do not have one, we will have a form available. Make sure your Volunteer Verification form has your name, phone number, and school/agency name. Failure to check out will result in no credit. Participants who choose to not follow rules, behave unsafely, or be disrespectful, will be asked to leave and receive no credit.
