Are you looking to learn about how to run a non-profit? Do you want to learn about the administrative and developmental tasks for Boston based youth sports organization? Do you want to learn about the needs of urban families? Did you play or do you love soccer?
Join South End Soccer and be part of creating opportunities for over 1,200 urban youth to play in our free programs - we are breaking the barriers for urban youth to play sports.
Who are we looking for?
--- fun, energetic, outgoing volunteers/interns
--- organized, detailed oriented individuals
--- folks that care about equity and want to make a difference in the community
--- someone that can commit to fall semester or till December, prefer 6-12 month commitment
What will you be doing?
--- assisting with annual appeal and sponsorships
--- assist managing events
--- assist with outreach, communications and social media
--- assist managing database
--- meeting with funders and community partners
South End Soccer was founded in 2008 to bring together youth from Boston’s South End, Roxbury, Chinatown and beyond to play the beautiful game, develop a love of the sport and build community. We do more more than a sport, we are connecting our diverse community, forging relationships and creating opportunity.

Soccer Unity Project is a non-profit 501c3 organization serving Boston area youth and adults. Our mission is to reimagine the power of soccer to build community, connect people from diverse backgrounds, and promote equity in youth play.
Description
We provide free & accessible programming to youth and adults in Boston. We run youth programming in all four seasons at varied levels of commitment and competition. We are a member of Mass Youth Soccer, and follow their philosophy of coach training, instruction and play. Through the generous support of parents, community members, local businesses and organizations, we are able to provide recreational programming at no cost.
