Family Services' Regional Youth Services program is looking for a volunteer to provide childcare for a small group of children while their parents attend an adult English class. Children's ages range from 2-6 years of age.
- Mondays, from 4:30-6:00 p.m.
- 620 East Diamond Avenue, Suite H in Gaithersburg
- Starting as soon as possible and continuing into the fall (and longer if available)
Key responsibilities:
- Engage children in age-appropriate games and activities while providing supervision
- Have fun with the kids!
Qualifications:
- Dependable and flexible
- A respectful attitude in working with young children
- An encouraging and positive attitude
- Students age 17 and older are welcome to apply
All interested volunteers need to submit a volunteer application and attend a new volunteer orientation. Volunteers 18 and older will need to complete a background check and submit a notarized Child Protective Services form.
