A blanket a day keeps the cold away initiative, is about preparing our patients that are in hospice care with blankets before the cold months hit. At this current moment, we are looking for members from our community to create blankets in the comfort of their own home, to donate them to a patient in need over the fall and winter months. As much as we are enjoying the Summer, the Winter will soon arrive. This year, we are asking members of the community to sew, crochet, knit or quilt a blanket to help keep our patients warmer in the colder months.

If you are great at Crocheting, Sewing, Knitting or Quilting, please, we are looking for YOU! Help us, to help our patients stay warm this Winter.

If you would like to donate a handmade blanket, please donate them at our main office in Brookfield. The drop-off location address is as follow:

Note:

Each blanket will be given to a patient in hospice care that is in need of one to keep them warm.

Each blanket will be given to a patient free of charge.

Giving is not about making a donation. It is about making a difference.
