VETERAN HOUSING CORP recently acquired property in Ocala, Florida, which will be used to prvide decent affordable housing for veterans and their families, especially those veterans who have service connected disabilities or were formerly homeless. The property is in needs of lots of tender loving care. Veteran Housing Corp has a local construction foreman who has volunteered to organize, direct and assist all volunteers in making improvements to the property. VETERAN HOUSING NEEDS your skills, including volunteer painters, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, air conditioning techs, landscapers, and more. This opportunity is available on an ongoing basis. If you live in the OCALA area and wish to volunteer your time and put your skills and expertise to good use and for a good cause, consider volunteering with VETERAN HOUSING CORP for just a few hours a week, a day, or more, as you are able.

Veteran Housing Corp's prime directive is to provide veterans with housing. The organizations primary goal is to house veterans in need of safe, decent, and affordable housing, whether for a day or a lifetime. Veteran Housing Corp believes that housing is the most important component of all the services that can be provided to a veteran who is homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. As such, Veteran Housing Corp works collaboratively with government agencies and other nonprofits to provide veterans the case management, supportive and other services they may need or require.
